Today one of my really good friends in the trumpetline quit marching band. I’m gonna miss her a lot, she was really good. And my section leader quit her position, so now we have a different one who, no offense to him, isn’t quite as good. I guess my friend quit because she and my section leader had a disagreement, and things for her in band had just been going downhill for a while. It saddens me a lot to see her go, but it’s what she wanted to do. My old section leader, as mean and loud as she could be, was the perfect thing for the trumpetline. She was like the backbone of our section’s body. She will sorely missed by me and most others, but only because of a select few who did not respect her authority and general awesomeness when it came to trumpet, now she’s gone. Hope you guys are happy!

So as of October 22, 2009, the old trumpetline for the 2009 season has been changed for good - and this time, I’m not sure if it’s for the better.
